It is with deep
regret that we are placing this ad but our loss is
someone else's gain.
5 year old (born 2005, Texas bred) Sorrel AQHA
gelding that rides like he is a seasoned
performance horse. Trained and shown in
Reining throughout his 2, 3, & early 4 year
old years. Then had 90 days Heel horse
training by a PRCA heeler that said when he
got this gelding to ride, he had not yet even seen a
cow and within a month he was making 8 out of 10
perfect heel runs and only continued to get better.
He said this was one of the nicest horses he had
ever rode and that if his personal situation was
different
he would own him (this gentleman's name and # will
be given to serious inquiries). He also said
this gelding progressed faster than any other
training horse that he or his friends had ever rode.
He is perfect in the box, scores great, tracks like
he has roped hundreds of steers, really gets in the
ground and works a rope like a pro. He has since ben
used on the ranch and you won't ride a nicer horse.
He is a blast to rope calves and yearlings on, you
wont get out-run and he tracks like a magnet.
Our 13-year old daughter roped off him at branding
this year and he treated her like a princess.
We couldn't have asked him to do any better or be
more honest. In addition to being shown in
reining, he has also been shown and won in Halter,
Bareback Equitation, Western Pleasure, English
Pleasure, he has also been shown and won in Halter,
Bareback Equitation, Western Pleasure, English
Pleasure (wow he looked awesome and moved out like
he had been an English mount all his life), Ranch
Riding and trail classes. With a bit of a tune
up and some sliders, he would be ready to go back
into the Reining show pen and be a first class
YOUTH, NON-PRO, OR AMATEUR mount.
If you wanted to take him to
the ROPING pen, you won't be disappointed and you
won't ride a classier horse. If you want to
make your mark in the Ranch Horse Versatility shows,
your future awaits you - come and get him. We
have even started him on barrels (slow and steady)
and has shown enough potential that it makes me
confident enough to say he should make a competitive
derby or rodeo BARREL horse. I can't say how
nice this young gelding is and how well broke he is,
he has been nothing short of a true pleasure to own
and ride. He is and has been so versatile and
willing that it continually amazes us. He is
100% sound, healthy, and fit as a fiddle. He
is easy to catch, has impeccable ground manners and
is simply fun to be around and rewarding to ride.
He has his entire life in front of him and anyone
that is lucky enough to own him will be successful
in whatever they choose to do with him. Many
